Beaufort Interiors has designs on new Collection at Chelsea Harbour
RECOGNISED for its luxurious interiors and fine craftsmanship, Moira’s Beaufort Interiors has just launched its first-ever interiors showroom at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London, during London Design Week 2016.
Coinciding with the first day of London Design Week, Beaufort’s showroom opened its doors last Sunday, 13th March, and the Collection, which is positioned within the Simpsons London showroom, has already welcomed thousands of influential interior designers and buyers from across the globe.
The BEAUFORT Collection includes sofas, armchairs, rugs, fabrics, curtains and cushions, and its new home - in the heart of London’s design district - will be the perfect showcase for the quality and luxurious collection from one of Northern Ireland’s finest interior design houses. In addition, where possible, Beaufort will be manufacturing the majority of The Beaufort Collection from its premises in Moira, Co. Down.
Ruth Wilson, Founder of Beaufort Interiors explains: “Since opening Beaufort Interiors over 30 years’ ago, we have created many bespoke Beaufort designs for both private and commercial customers. Over the years, we have developed a signature style and I’ve often been asked by industry peers how they can source Beaufort products as the Beaufort name is now well-known in the interior design world.
“Over the past few years, we’ve noticed a significant increase in the volume of commissions that we’re undertaking in GB and therefore it felt like the time was right to create our very own BEAUFORT Collection that encompasses the very best of Beaufort design.”
The BEAUFORT collection is the vision of Trevor Wilson, and his mother Ruth, who is the Managing Director and Founder of Beaufort Interiors, and it’s being presented alongside Simpsons Mirrors and Furniture and Alexander-James interior accessories.
Trevor Wilson continues: “London Design Week is the epicentre for international design and we felt that there was no better time to unveil The BEAUFORT Collection. We chose Chelsea Harbour for our showroom as it’s THE place for interiors, and we’re already known in the area, and within the interior design community in London, for the quality of our curtain making, largely through our attendance at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre over the years.”
“Ruth and I have worked on The BEAUFORT Collection for the past two years, and since we opened our doors on Sunday, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible feedback from our peers. We’re confident that this is just the start of building the BEAUFORT Collection and are proud that the fine furnishings and products in our collection, designed in Northern Ireland, will now be positioned in customers’ homes and buildings across the globe.”
The Beaufort Collection marks the beginning of a new chapter for Beaufort Interiors. In addition to the collection, Beaufort Interiors is currently working on commissions across the world, including a 7-star standard hotel and a private residence in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Beaufort Interiors’ flagship showroom is located on Main Street, Moira and the company has re-designed its website www.beaufortinteriors.co.uk
The BEAUFORT Collection can be viewed at Design Centre East, Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, London or on www.BeaufortCollection.com
