Help us do something Amazing!
Help us do something amazing by donating towards a bed for Children in Ethiopia. For every £1 donated Beaufort Collection will match it! We have set up a Just Giving Page for people to give what they can to Stand By Me and all donations will go towards a new bed for families who have never experienced sleeping in a bed.
The cost of a bed is around £120, and last year Stand By Me built 20 beds. This year, Beaufort Collection’s, Trevor Wilson, alongside the team, aim to provide 40 families with a bed.
Stand By Me
Stand By Me is a charity organisation that helps children and families in poor countries and offers them a better way of life with care homes, schools, family support and care centres. Stand By Me adopted the Bethany School in Bekoji, Ethiopia where today they are providing the poorest children with quality education, daily food, health care and family support. However, Children belonging to the school still live without a bed to sleep on.
Trevor Wilson of Beaufort Collection is taking part in the next Stand By Me trip to Ethiopia and travelling to Bethany School in Bekoji with a team from Northern Ireland to build beds for families and their children who are currently sleeping on the ground in mud huts and have never experienced sleeping in a bed before.
Trevor says, "It's a very important journey for our team, we have the skills to help these children and give them a comfortable bed to sleep in. Designing and manufacturing beds are one of our design services so what better than to use these skills and give children a better quality of life". He Continues, "The money raised will go towards buying mattresses and wood from which we will be constructing beds and families in Ethiopia and we would appreciate any contributions received".

Sponsor a Bed
If any individual or company would like to sponsor a bed or contribute towards one, it will be gratefully received. Last year Stand By Me wrote sponsors names on the underside of the bed they sponsored and sent them a photograph.
